

Masako Nozawa
Masako Nozawa is a renowned Japanese actress and voice actress hailing from Tokyo. With a rich career in voice acting, she has been associated with esteemed organizations such as Production Baobab, 81 Produce, and her own Office Nozawa. Presently, she is affiliated with Aoni Production. Masako's late husband, Masaaki Tsukada, was also a prominent voice actor.
Among her most iconic roles, Masako is celebrated for voicing Son Goku in the immensely popular Dragon Ball franchise. In addition to Goku, she has lent her voice to various characters in the series, including Goku's male relatives (excluding Raditz) and the antagonist Goku Black. Her versatile talent has also brought to life characters such as Tetsurō Hoshino from Galaxy Express 999 and Kitarō from GeGeGe no Kitarō, covering both the original and subsequent series.
Notably, Masako has voiced two distinct characters named "Hiroshi"—one in Dokonjō Gaeru and the other in Hyakujūō Golion, where she portrayed "Pidge" and "Haggar" in the U.S. adaptation. She first voiced the beloved character Doraemon in the 1973 anime, taking over from male actor Kōsei Tomita, and reprised the role in a 1988 special titled Early English with Doraemon. Her contributions to anime have solidified her status as a legendary figure in the industry.
