Takehito Koyasu is a prominent Japanese voice actor known for his distinctive deep and smooth vocal style. He gained significant recognition as a member of the voice actor ensemble Weiß, alongside fellow actors Shinichiro Miki, Tomokazu Seki, and Hiro Yūki, all of whom starred in the anime series Weiß Kreuz. Originally associated with Production Baobab, Koyasu established his own agency, T's Factory, in 1998, where he serves as the head.

Koyasu's versatile voice has made him a sought-after talent for a range of characters, often portraying villains or melancholic bishōnen. However, he has also embraced a variety of comedic roles in recent years, lending his voice to characters like Mitsurugi Hanagata from Saber Marionette J, Ryo Kuroyanagi in Yakitate!! Japan, and the eccentric Kei Itoshiki from (Zoku) Sayonara, Zetsubou-Sensei. Notably, manga artist Hisaya Nakajo created the character Masao Himejima in Hana-Kimi with Koyasu's voice in mind, further solidifying his influence in the industry.

In 2009, Koyasu ventured into producing his own series, launching the Velvet Underworld with the inaugural drama CD titled "The Fool," followed by "The Wheel of Fortune" the next month. These projects showcase his commitment to expanding his artistic range and contributing to the voice acting landscape.
