In 1995, she garnered critical acclaim and won the New York Drama Desk Award for Outstanding Featured Actress in a Play for her captivating portrayal of Ophelia alongside Ralph Fiennes in Shakespeare's Hamlet. Her remarkable talents earned her the Best Actress Award at the Reims International Television Festival in 1999 for her role as Lady Dona St. Columb in the adaptation of Frenchman's Creek.
