

Tom Kenny
Thomas James "Tom" Kenny, born on July 13, 1962, is a celebrated American actor and comedian, best recognized for his iconic role as the voice of SpongeBob SquarePants in the beloved animated series. In addition to voicing SpongeBob, Kenny brought to life several other memorable characters, including Patchy the Pirate, Gary the Snail, and the French narrator inspired by Jacques Cousteau. His impressive voice acting repertoire extends to roles such as the Narrator and Mayor in The Powerpuff Girls, Heffer in Rocko's Modern Life, Dog in CatDog, and the Ice King in Adventure Time. He also voiced Spyro in the popular Spyro the Dragon video game series.
Kenny's talents are not limited to voice work; he appeared in the short-lived Fox sketch series The Edge and was a prominent member of the HBO sketch comedy show Mr. Show, where he collaborated with fellow cast member Jill Talley, whom he later married. In 1983, he hosted Friday Night Videos on NBC for a year, and in 2007, he took on the role of host for Funday Night at the Movies on Turner Classic Movies.
