Toni Collette

Toni Collette Galafassi, born on November 1, 1972, is a multifaceted Australian talent recognized as an actress, producer, singer, and songwriter. Renowned for her performances in television and independent cinema, she has garnered numerous prestigious awards, including a Golden Globe and an Emmy, alongside nominations for an Academy Award, a Tony Award, and two BAFTAs.

Collette made her cinematic debut in the 1992 film Spotswood, earning a nomination for the AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Supporting Role. Her career took a significant leap with the comedy-drama Muriel's Wedding (1994), which not only won her an AACTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role but also earned her a Golden Globe nomination. She gained global acclaim for her role in the psychological thriller The Sixth Sense (1999), which led to an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Her talent was further recognized with BAFTA nominations for her performances in About a Boy (2002) and Little Miss Sunshine (2006).

In 2017, she co-founded the film production company Vocab Films with Jen Turner.
