Nas lands an interview for admission to Oxford University, igniting his hopes for the future. Meanwhile, Mandy finds herself struggling to cope as her new boss assigns her an unruly group of students from other institutions. Tensions rise when the fiery Deputy Head Martin clashes with Sam Murgatroyd's mother, who has just been released from prison. Additionally, the rebellious Rukhsana proves to be a challenge for Sue, the newly appointed Director of Behaviour, who is disillusioned and decidedly untraditional in her approach.
