After a series of agent fatalities caused by Sterling's negligence, ISIS finds itself unable to fulfill government diversity requirements. Enter Conway Stern, a suave and tough agent who sports a Star of David necklace. Malory enthusiastically describes him as "a diversity double whammy," but his unique background and exceptional skills as a secret agent are not the only factors that led her to recruit him.
