Without Lois's knowledge, Ginger extends an invitation to Jonas for their Thanksgiving feast. As the day progresses, feelings run high when Carl appears to bond more with Dr. Dave than with his biological father. Meanwhile, the gathering, which includes Mrs. Dave and the Bishop family, struggles with underlying tensions, leading to an atmosphere that's anything but harmonious.
