While visiting Joe in the hospital, Catherine discovers she is expecting a baby. However, on her way to the car in the parking garage, she is abducted. Vincent, still recovering from his recent illness, cannot locate her and is unaware of her pregnancy. The kidnappers imprison Catherine, believing that by taking her child, they can lure Vincent out of hiding—exactly what they intend. As they keep Catherine confined, Vincent desperately searches for her, feeling lost without his ability to sense her presence. Nevertheless, he promises to do whatever it takes to rescue her.
