Joyce becomes convinced that Mrs. Simmonds, a new guest, is the hotel inspector, leading her to try too hard to make a good impression. However, things go awry when Mrs. Simmonds sees Joyce kicking a furious Kenneth out of his salon for not paying rent. Meanwhile, the hotel is also hosting shady characters Lennie and Neville, who made life difficult for Donald during his time in prison. Mick reveals to the family that all of Mel’s sunbed shops have burned down, prompting an angry outburst from Madge, which leads Michael to confront her. Can the family come together despite their conflicts?
