Title: Episode 5 Plot: Natalie crafts an unbreakable alibi for Ripley regarding the murder night. Although Carlisle suspects her deception, he feels powerless to challenge it. As Ripley’s business crumbles, his friend and financial advisor, Marr, reveals his true intentions with a cruel betrayal. Ripley fights to maintain his grip on what little remains, but the situation continues to deteriorate. Adding to his troubles, Terry, another friend, admits to alerting the police about Ripley's actions during the murder. Carlisle temporarily rekindles his relationship with Natalie, but she soon has second thoughts and decides to end it at his hotel. Carlisle insists he never truly cared for her; his aim was to get back at Ripley. Meanwhile, Ripley begins to piece together the affair between Carlisle and Natalie.
