Amidst the festivities of Shyanne and Steve's wedding in Blackpool, Ripley's life spirals into chaos. On the big day, he confronts Natalie about her affair with Carlisle, leaving their marriage hanging by a thread. Just as tensions rise, Carlisle arrives to arrest Ripley for murder, only for Ripley to challenge him about his own scandalous relationship with the suspect's wife. Determined to clear his name, Ripley strives to protect his family while pursuing his ambitions. As the day unfolds, he learns that his son Danny is gay and was involved in the murder in self-defense. Acknowledging Natalie’s true feelings for Carlisle, Ripley steps aside, allowing them to be together in exchange for no murder charges against him. He then passes the casino on to Danny, who is also implicated in the chaos.
