S1E18 Act Eighteen – Banshee's Cries

Following his defeat at Edo Castle, Habaki is removed from his role as head clerk. Undeterred, he takes charge of the Rokki-dan in a bid to eradicate the Ittou-ryu. Meanwhile, Ugen, the newly appointed head clerk, believes that since the Ittou-ryu has departed from Edo, they are no longer a threat. To enforce compliance with this decision, Ugen makes a shocking move by capturing Habaki's wife and children as hostages.
