S1E1 Army of God

While digging up the remains of medieval soldiers from the Crusades, archaeologist Gillian Magwilde and her team stumble into peril when their findings prompt them to seek out the True Cross. Complicating matters, the zealous right-wing Christian Edward Laygass obstructs their efforts by purchasing the excavation site and proclaiming it as Holy Ground.
