In a meeting with Emperor Nero, Agrippina commands Cestvs to battle the gifted young guard, Ruska. After being overpowered and choked out by the talented fighter, Cestvs feels disheartened by his first loss. However, Zafar inspires him by reminding him of his potential, prompting Cestvs to vow to train harder. As time goes by, Cestvs joins Drisco's boxing team and travels to Pompeii, where he crosses paths with Emden, the strongest fighting slave there. While at a mansion, he notices someone sneaking in at night, only to discover it’s a stunning woman. Who could she be?
