After being turned down by Miss Blondel, Danny tries to make his former girlfriend Yvonne envious by pretending to be the brother of singer David Essex, all while hiding the ruse from his parents. Meanwhile, Fred starts a new job as a commissionaire at an office building but leaves after just one day. Additionally, Michael, under the influence of LSD, nearly injures himself and finds himself in the hospital. With so much chaos unfolding, it's no surprise that Bet chooses to escape for a fishing trip with her coworker, Keith.
