S1E3 November 1842, Winter Approaches Cranford

The disappearance of a leg of mutton sets off a series of unfortunate events for a family in Cranford. As Christmas draws near, Miss Matty receives an invitation that she is urged to accept. Meanwhile, Dr. Harrison's friend Jack convinces him to confess his feelings for Sophy, but then he resorts to a malicious prank that complicates matters further.
