S2E1 The Killing Fields of Truro

Mar 20, 2008 Season 2 Episode 1 Crime, Documentary

In the 2008 premiere of Crime Investigation Australia, the chilling narrative of "The Truro Murder Cases" unfolds, detailing one of Australia's most notorious criminal episodes, set against the backdrop of Adelaide. Between December 23, 1976, and February 12, 1977, seven young women mysteriously vanished. James William Miller admitted to aiding his lover, Christopher Robin Worrell, in disposing of the corpses of these women, whom Worrell had brutally assaulted and killed while Miller waited close by. Over a year later, the skeletal remains of four victims were uncovered in makeshift graves in the Truro area, located 80 kilometers northeast of Adelaide.
