Crime Investigation Australia (2005)
S2E5 The Gonzales Family Murders
On July 10, 2001, Sef Gonzales took the lives of his sister Clodine, 18, his mother Mary Loiva Josephine, 43, and his father Teddy, 46, at their home in North Ryde. He initially claimed to have stumbled upon their bodies upon his return and pointed to racist graffiti found at the scene. However, as the investigation progressed, authorities began to suspect Sef. It emerged that he had been fabricating his academic results to hide his failures, leading to conflicts with his parents over potential loss of privileges like his car. Additionally, he had a dispute with his mother regarding a girlfriend she disapproved of. These factors, coupled with his desire to access the family wealth, provided strong motives for the tragic killings.
