As a raging fire erupts, the LAFD calls on the Sheriff's department for assistance. One of Bill's deputies stumbles upon a questionable vehicle in the woods, which ultimately leads them to a girl who has gone missing. Meanwhile, Maggie faces the fallout of Bill's new position as reporters camp outside their home seeking information. In another part of town, Cade and Teresa grapple with how to approach a delicate topic with their foster kids, trying to find the right words for the situation.
