On a rainy day in Wisteria Lane, six months have passed since Mike's tragic accident, leaving him in a coma with Susan loyally by his side. Bree has accepted Orson's proposal, while Gabrielle and Carlos face the end of their marriage. Their surrogate, Xiao-Mei, who is eight and a half months pregnant, unexpectedly disappears, momentarily bringing them back together. Meanwhile, Lynette struggles to adapt to the presence of another child in her home, discovering that the girl's mother, Nora, poses challenges that are becoming increasingly overwhelming.
