In the absence of their marshal, the townspeople take matters into their own hands, deciding to carry out vigilante justice. Fueled by anger and a thirst for retribution, they transform into judge, jury, and executioner, plotting to hang a man they believe is guilty. As tension rises and morality is tested, the community must confront the consequences of their actions and the true meaning of justice.
