Wealthy magnate Phillip Drummond has honored his housekeeper’s last request by taking in her two young sons, 8-year-old Arnold and 12-year-old Willis, into his upscale penthouse. Determined to help them adjust, he showers the boys with affection and presents, yet he is bewildered when he discovers their plan to escape back to their home in Harlem. To assist Drummond in making the street-smart boys feel comfortable in their new, affluent environment, he enlists the help of Mrs. Garrett, his new housekeeper, and his teenage daughter, Kimberly.
