Pauline is on the verge of realizing her dream of becoming a member of the Portwenn Lifeboat crew. Unfortunately, her excitement quickly diminishes as she faces the sexist attitudes of her fellow crew members. Meanwhile, Martin finds himself in serious trouble when the husband of a patient who passed away under his care accuses him of murder.
