Episode Overview

Bert Large is struggling to keep his restaurant afloat and can't even cover the costs for a charity event meant to help Florence Dingle's cat sanctuary. Mrs. Dingle is heartbroken, as she urgently requires funds to care for the cats and kittens depending on her. Meanwhile, Bert is under pressure from loan sharks Alastair Tonken and his son Norman, who are demanding repayment of the £1,000 they lent him to settle his debts, threatening serious consequences if he fails to pay them back.
