Hyakkimaru injures the spider-like monster, Jorogumo. To recover, she morphs into a woman and charms a young man named Yajiro, who offers her shelter. After losing track of Jorogumo, Dororo and Hyakkimaru arrive at a nearby village where they learn about a mysterious kidnapper lurking in the area.
