Emmy is excited about her new shoes, while Max believes a balloon is a better choice. Suddenly, a dragon summons them to Dragon Land, where they find Ord unusually holding a dragon scale. He explains that it’s the magical merry-go-round's special day, but they can’t ride yet because the youngest pony, Whinni, is missing. With Quetzal’s help, they team up and prepare to search for her, armed with rope to lead her back. However, Max struggles with tying knots. Will he master this skill in time to help find Whinni? As Emmy and Max get ready for Ord’s birthday, Max is still having trouble with knots, accidentally tying his finger to his gift. When they arrive in Dragon Land, Ord is excited to share his birthday plans, but Emmy and Max seem a bit nervous.
