During a visit to Dragon Land, he teams up with a Lorca for a scavenger hunt to gather unique plants for the School in the Sky's garden. Doubting their chances due to his small stature and Lorca's wheelchair, Max fears they won't succeed. However, Lorca proves resourceful and demonstrates to Max that their unique situation can actually work to their advantage, inspiring them to think creatively and tackle the challenge together.
