A Somali teenager is brutally murdered in an isolated railway tunnel, prompting Koa and Malik to investigate. Their inquiries lead them to Asad, a Somali figure believed to be luring locals back to Africa for Al-Shabaab. The victim had opposed Asad’s ideology, raising concerns for his guardian, Samiira, who is wary of Asad’s influence over her younger brother, Yusef. Despite Samiira's attempts to escape her violent past, the shadow of conflict from Somalia seems to have caught up with her.
