After the brutal murder of a showrunner in his office, Elsbeth finds herself immersed in the chaotic world of television. Initial evidence suggests that a disgruntled fan may be responsible, yet Elsbeth starts to suspect Regina Coburn, the series' veteran star, who is desperate for creative satisfaction. At the same time, Judge Crawford remains a persistent obstacle for Elsbeth, complicating her investigation further.
