Even though the demon possession that triggered the massive power outage has been dealt with, Bayron City still grapples with ongoing power shortages. Meanwhile, Kisara stumbles upon a clandestine meeting between Ayano and an enigmatic man. To gauge Shu's feelings, she posts a photo of the encounter online. Lured in by Kisara’s bait, Shu confronts Ayano and the stranger, who turns out to be Tetsuya Mikami, a detective from the Anti-Demon Bureau. In a shocking turn of events, Shu discovers that Ayano has been concealing her true motives and plans from him, creating a palpable tension between them.
