After revealing her deception, Enrique opts to take Dok Mi to the beach rather than back home. He watches her find tranquility as she gazes at the ocean. In a twist of fate, Enrique tumbles into the water, but a kind elderly woman takes them in, offering them a meal while his clothes dry. They end up spending the night since he can't drive under the influence, which turns out to be a blessing for Dok Mi, as the source of her anxiety awaits her in Jin Rak's apartment.
