The Panthers are gearing up for a crucial game they must win. Matt's father returns from Iraq, but his mother’s situation proves hard for him to handle. Meanwhile, Tami Taylor approaches Tim Riggins about his academic performance. She suspects he’s not completing his assignments independently and recruits Landry to help him prepare for an upcoming oral exam. If Tim fails, he will be ineligible to play for the team.
