Monica starts attending Chandler's work events, enjoying the freedom of being open about their relationship. However, she quickly discovers that Chandler adopts a more irritating persona when in the presence of his boss. Meanwhile, Ross receives the news that Emily is set to remarry, which leads him to seek comfort in an unexpected place— rekindling a connection with Janice, an old foe of the group.
