As Thanksgiving approaches, Monica's parents are set to visit, creating tension since they disapprove of Chandler and are unaware that he and Monica are cohabitating. Rachel is assigned the job of preparing a dessert for the feast, but her efforts yield unpredictable results. Meanwhile, Joey and Ross are anxious to wrap up the dinner quickly so they can join Janine and her fellow dancers at a lively Thanksgiving celebration.
