In another storyline, Phoebe and Joey accompany Rachel to a charity auction, only for Joey to realize he has no clue what a silent auction entails. Meanwhile, Ross and Elizabeth's relationship reaches a pivotal moment. Chandler keeps up a facade of disliking marriage, oblivious to Richard's desire to win Monica back. Additionally, Rachel and Phoebe share their thoughts on 'backup' plans in case they remain single by 40.
