Joey receives a nomination for a Soapie Award for his role on Days of Our Lives, and although he doesn’t take home the prize, he ends up with an unexpected accolade alongside his partner, Rachel. Meanwhile, Ross finds himself in an uncomfortable situation when a student confesses that his midterm failure is due to his feelings for Ross. On another front, Monica panics upon realizing that marrying Chandler means she'll never experience the thrill of dating again. In an unexpected twist, Chandler steps up as the voice of reason, helping to soothe her worries.
