At Central Perk, Phoebe does a tea leaf reading and discovers she’ll soon meet the man of her dreams. Shortly after, she encounters a man she keeps running into, but he turns out to be quite unsettling. Meanwhile, the awkwardness lingers between Joey and Rachel, leading Joey to evade her. To spark a conversation, Rachel concocts a wild work-related dilemma, unaware of how far Joey will go to assist her with this fabricated issue. Meanwhile, Ross attempts to retrieve his favorite shirt from Mona's place, only to be interrupted when she arrives home with a date.
