Joey grows suspicious that Monica is being unfaithful when he discovers Chandler has returned to the city without informing him, intending to spend some private time with her. Simultaneously, Rachel and Phoebe enjoy a night out, where Rachel ends up sharing her number with a guy they encounter at a bar. In another storyline, Ross and Mike attempt to bond, but their effort falls flat as they struggle to connect over shared interests.
