Monica and Chandler take a look at their finances and realize they’re in a tight spot. Monica secretly asks Joey for a loan without Chandler's knowledge. When Chandler finds out, Joey concocts a story that the money is for Monica's breast augmentation. Meanwhile, Phoebe is thrilled about moving in with Mike, but her joy turns to disappointment when she learns he has no plans to marry again. Additionally, Rachel's efforts to baby-proof their apartment push a stressed Joey to his limits.
