Following their confrontation with Scar, Ed's automail and Al's armor require urgent repairs, prompting Major Armstrong to guide them back to their hometown of Risembool. During their journey, they unexpectedly come across Dr. Marcoh, a scientist involved in the creation of the Philosopher's Stone. Eager to gain insight, they attempt to persuade him to reveal the whereabouts of the research data related to the Stone.
