On New Year's Eve in 1999, pizza delivery guy Philip J. Fry inadvertently tumbles into a cryogenic chamber, resulting in him being frozen for a millennium. When he finally awakens, he finds himself in New New York, where he befriends a thieving robot named Bender. Fry soon joins the space delivery service run by his distant descendant, embarking on a series of adventures in this bizarre future.
