Hermes decides to take a much-needed break to relieve some stress, leaving Morgan Proctor, a substitute bureaucrat, to fill in. She quickly develops a crush on Fry. In a bid to expose their secret romance, Bender threatens to reveal the truth, but Morgan retaliates by erasing Bender’s memory and concealing it deep within the vast Central Bureaucracy.
