Cobra Commander interferes with Dr. Mindbender's initial experiment, resulting in the emergence of a grotesque creature. Although Sergeant Slaughter manages a temporary escape, he is soon recaptured but succeeds in destroying his DNA sample. The second experiment proves fruitful, leading to the creation of Serpentor. Meanwhile, a team of Joes heads to Cobra Island to rescue Slaughter and uncover Cobra's schemes.
