The climactic setting is a mesa where Cobra connects all their Dragonfire bases via satellite to develop a devastating energy weapon and enhance their vehicles with Dragonfire energy. Meanwhile, the Joes, thanks to Freedom's discovery of a Native American man with the knowledge to activate their own Dragonfire, finally gain the upper hand. Scoops then relays the frequency needed to shut down Cobra's Dragonfire, triggering a chain reaction that obliterates all of Cobra's Dragonfire bases.
