Meanwhile, 44 reaches his breaking point; he’s fed up with Max deciphering his top-secret messages and the monotony of their covert operations, especially since he’s barred from dining with the captain. As if things couldn't worsen, he gets shot, leading Max to uncover the identity of the assassin—though it might be too late to save 44.
