Following Beverly's exit, the Billy Barnes staff welcomes a new male Supervising Nurse, Patsy De La Serda, who is eager to implement a customer-focused, "cruise-line inspired" strategy aimed at enhancing ward ratings. However, Patsy quickly discovers that dealing with patients, particularly the stubborn and spirited Varla, cannot be solely managed through customer service metrics. Meanwhile, a more compliant patient, Donna, captures DiDi's heart with her remarkable karaoke talents, adding a lighter dynamic to the ward.
