After attending a dark art exhibit, Melinda is pursued by the spirit of a man who was executed, compelling her to reach out to his estranged daughter, who is in distress. Meanwhile, Melinda's husband, a paramedic, faces a lawsuit from a woman alleging that he caused her more harm during an attempt to save her life with CPR.
