Melinda is called to assist the spirit of an African-American man who was brutally murdered by a white colleague in the 1970s. This restless ghost is targeting the prosecutor who, despite having ample evidence, chose not to press charges against the assailant. Melinda seeks to aid the ghost in achieving justice while also guiding his son to confront and alter his prejudiced beliefs before they are handed down to future generations.
