Tom lands a role in a sofa commercial, while Linda begins her job on a factory assembly line, dispensing mashed potatoes and playfully flirting with a male coworker. Tom befriends a celebrity and invites him over, but the star doesn't get along with Linda, snapping at her, “Butt out or get pretty!” This tension creates a rift in their shared living space.
